On Site Activities

La Solinière is arranged around a traditional French courtyard and surrounded by miles of beautiful French countryside. We have four gites, all newly converted. We have our own private parklands, which is the perfect place to relax, picnic and watch the rare red squirrels. We have a small lake, complete with ducks and carp, and 5 acres of parkland and orchards, which you are welcome to explore. Lake fishing allowed at certain times, hand feeding the ducks allowed all year!

We have a beautiful swimming pool with sun terrace, tennis court, table tennis table, darts, petenque/boules ground, barbeque area and a selection of indoor and outdoor toys and games. We can also provide entertainment systems so you can watch a movie or listen to music in your own lounge. A beautiful swimming pool with sun terrace overlooking the parkland.

Tennis court - Football, Basketball, Badminton and Volleyball all situated in the corner of the parkland surrounded by a fully enclosed high mesh sports area.

A petenque / Boules ground. Fishing in the small lake in the park (restrictions apply), Trampoline complete with safety enclosure for the kids. Slide and swing Park.

Hammocks and quiet areas set in the parkland for lazy snoozes or relaxing and reading.
Swing ball and many others outdoor games, for adults and children.
 
 

Fishing

Come and fish in our beautiful onsite carp lake in peaceful surroundings under the trees for shade.

Swimming

Take a relaxing swim in our beautiful pool or relax on comfortable sun lounges on our pretty terrace, parasols supplied if it gets to hot, and watch the kids having endless fun in the pool.
 

Sports

If your feeling sporty enjoy a game of tennis on our newly laid tennis court (tennis rackets supplied) or try a game of volleyball, or even a football match with the kids or try a game of basketball.

In our games room we have table tennis or if your fancy trying a French sport have a go at pertanque.

Children’s Activities

There is an enclosed tennis court where you can also play football, basketball and volleyball. There is a children’s play area with swings and slide and off course 5 acres of parkland to run about in and plenty of hiding places for hide and seek and if your quiet you might even catch a glance of the rare red squirrel. Also in the children’s play area there is a 14 ft trampoline with enclosure. There are plenty of books and board games to play in the games room.

There are BBQ’s that our guests can use.
